GENERAL:
  • Judy worked sections of "Anything Goes" and "Blow, Gabriel, Blow".
  • Judy worked "Buddy Beware".
  • Ran through the show.
  • Designers and crew watched tonight. Thanks so much for our crew members who jumped in tonight and helped move set pieces and props!
  • If you would like a show shirt, please give $20 CHECK ONLY (made out to Georgetown Palace Theatre) to Kristie by February 23rd.  Shirts will be blue and have the poster on the front and names on the back.  These are regular t-shirts.
  • Click on this Box link for all kinds of great information!  Check back often for new stuff!  https://app.box.com/s/txtj5gsyazass0dxz7q0.
CAST:
  • Smokers: Please use the designated picnic table area in the alley for smokey treat enjoyment!  Some smoke smells were wafting into the theatre this evening.  Thanks!
  • Please do not leave your scripts on the stairs leading out to the alley or anywhere backstage where they will interfere with foot traffic.  Thanks!
  • If you have a prop that you would like to have preset backstage due to a quick entrance or exit, please write down what the prop is and what page in the script it is used and let Kristie know.  She will find a home for it.
  • If you need an entrance cue (ex. You enter based on someone else's exit, but you can't see it), please let Meredith know, and she will make that happen via a backstage crew member.
  • Please look over your lines and blocking before you come to rehearsal.
  • If you have a quick change you think you will need crew help with, please make a list of what you need and the page number in the script, and let your ASM, Kristie, know; she will arrange someone to help you.
  • Please stay quiet backstage; actors onstage are finding it hard to hear verbal cues!
  • If you'd like to use the Palace's wifi, please use "Palace Guest".
  • Please remember that vocal parts are located in the cast Box folder.  Please review your parts!
  • Don't forget to take out what you bring in!  Throw away trash, put away chairs, etc., when you leave the rehearsal space, please!

PRODUCTION TEAM:
  • TAMAR: Would you please take a look at the tommy gun as it fits in the violin case?  It doesn't fall easily out when the case is opened.
  • TAMAR: Ron says reinforced crates exist.  Will you pull two for us?
  • RON: Priority Items -- Finishing all rails (reinforced and finished); finishing corners on masking flats and fixing SR flat (see note below); ease of opening of the jail door
  • RON: Actors report that the jail door is sticking and hard to open.
  • RON: The SL staircase railing release doesn't line up with the railing above it, making it hard to slide on and off.  I put an orange PostIt on it.
  • RON: The wheel/lock on the bar you were wondering about is on the right if you behind the bar looking at it.
  • RON: Scott noticed that the SL masking flat (next to the curved stairs) is angled and would like the SR masking flat to mirror that angle.
  • RON: Will you please check that all tables fit through all openings onto the stage so that they can be placed easily and struck quickly.
  • KRISTIE: Neal says that he will keep his playing cards and dice on his person during the show.
