PRODUCTION TEAM:
  • RON: Kristie reports that the stage left backstage monitor isn't putting out any sound.  It started cutting in and out and then went silent.  We tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but to no avail.
  • RON: Callie reports that the projector wasn't showing script in preshow, so she shuttered and unshuttered it several times before it would work.  During Act I, it flashed, lighting up the stage, so she turned it off during intermission.
  • TAMAR: We need another can of shaving cream.
  • TAMAR: We're going to use the butterfly net from the PEPC since the kids' shows are over.
ACCIDENTS, MISC.:
  • A senior patron fell on the house right stairs, causing her to bleed.  Jan, our house manager, helped her and cleaned up the blood.  House had to be held an extra 17 minutes.

  • Abby will be out Sunday, March 29, 2015.  We will follow the same procedures/changes we did when she was out before.
  • Some notes from Scott: Please watch your pacing.  You have to guide the audience and cannot let audience reactions determine your pace.  Please do not add things to the show that were not originally in there if it alters the pacing that was so painstakingly created.  In general, we put together a really good show for opening weekend and don't need to alter it, add to it, or adjust it to keep it interesting.  We sold out because people want to see that show, not a new one.  Absolutely keep finding new stuff to play with, but if it affects the pacing of the show, please do not add in new gags, jokes, or takes.  I love you all, but I will have to request that you take them back out when I see them.

CAST:
  • We will start mic checks followed by vocal warmups on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at 1:15pm.  Cast call is still at 1:00pm.
  • Please make sure you are waiting for the blackouts at the end of the acts to move.  I know that you need to make quick, quick exits, but you are getting caught moving before the blackout has completed.
  • PLEASE make sure you are doing your part to keep spaces clean by following the trash schedule.  Not every trash can is being emptied every night.  (Apologies, Arden; I scheduled you for two places on the same night!)
  • On a similar note, PLEASE clean up/tidy up your area of the dressing room before leaving for the evening.  When locking up for the night, I find costume pieces strewn about, used tissues left on the ground/counter, pieces of mic tape stuck to walls and mirrors, etc., etc.  And please push in your chair.  It's like an obstacle course in there.  ;)

  • Set load will need to be done by 1:15pm on Sunday, March 15, 2015, as that is when we will be having mic check and vocal warm ups.
  • Samantha B. would like to have the jail drop lowered before you load in so that she can quickly check out the latch on the door so she'll know how to open it for the show.
  • Jay and Tim S. are going to practice opening the stage right stateroom before load in.

PRODUCTION TEAM:
  • RON: The gold bar came off of the stage right stateroom.  Taylor and Kristie reattached it to the wall during intermission, but it won't support any pulling.
  • RON: Brittany reports that the house left spotlight seems dim.
  • RON: Cosette fixed the tape seams on the upper level and then 
  • RON: Part of the stair facade on stairs 7 & 8 (from the floor) on stage left is broken.  We tore off the broken pieces and painted over it but would appreciate it if you could give it a look and possibly replace the affected portions.
  • TAMAR: We will need a new can of shaving cream for next weekend.
ACCIDENTS, MISC.:
  • Sam M. was kicked in the face by Katya but is okay.

PRODUCTION TEAM:
  • TAMAR: MKK reports that beads are falling off of her red dress and there are frays.  She wonders if she could get a new dress?
  • RON: One of the tables is wobbly.  Kristie put a note on it for you.
  • RON: Taylor reports that the stage left black masking curtains have large gaps on either side and need adjustment.
  • RON/BARB: Some of the tape seams on the second level are peeling up and need to be fixed.  We did a temporary fix with gaff tape.
  • RON: The end cap on the top rail of the stage right railing at the bottom of the stairs came off and probably needs to be glued back on.
  • RON: Callie reports that there is only one spare mic.
ACCIDENTS, MISC.:
  • One of our senior patrons was sick to her stomach during intermission.  Monte handled cleanup, assisted by the senior center's caregiver.
